This show for Shire Pharmaceuticals was a major product launch for them of Vyvanse, a new drug formulation for ADHD kids. The theme of the show was “The Next Generation”. Altered Image used a number of production elements to convey their messaging to the attendees, most of whom were the sales force for Shire’s new product. The show opened up with the flying aerialists, “2 nd Species” and the “Eve Selis Band” playing an original score and lyrics called, appropriately, “The Next Generation”. Two additional aerial acts were performed, as well, one as a closer for the first morning’s session and one as an opening for the “Recognition Banquet” later that night. The Eve Selis Band stayed with the show throughout the week, becoming the stage band for walk-ins, walk-outs, play-on's, and general good times for the attendees. As a topper for the “Recognition Banquet”, Jeff Foxworthy performed to a packed house. “…you might be a redneck!!” And, as a climax to the week, John Mellencamp performed for the group, playing for well over an hour his all time greatest hits, including, “Jack & Diane”, “Pink Houses”, and “R.O.C.K. in the USA” The week was concluded with a presentation informing the attendees about their sales incentives, including the possibility of earning the use of a Volvo XC90 for the coming year, which was revealed on stage.
