This was our fifth consecutive year doing the Ford Fleet Show for Jackson Dawson and it proved to be one of the most challenging to date stage management wise. With our “stage” being basically on the ballroom floor and the audience all raised on SGA tiered audience risers, it gave us the opportunity to have cars and trucks do a vehicle “ballet”. The “ballet” was the opener of Day two that included 14 drummers and dancers along with 8 vehicles that provided an endless flow of machine and humanity for an action paced 3:59. The final button displaying all vehicles and performers in a tight multiple “V” that was punctuated by a final pyrotechnics burst. There were a lot of “ooh’s and aww’s throughout this piece. A big nod of achievement goes out to the creative, technical and driving teams…a job very well done!
