ARDA (America Resort Development Association) holds this meeting every year, alternating between Las Vegas and Orlando. This year it was held at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.
The first days’ show on Monday, 4/6/08, was the opening general session with keynote speaker, Rick Barrera, president of Overpromise Incorporated, helping companies redesign their systems and implement a holistic approach to serving the customer.
Day 2 consisted of a “News Report” anchored by the Chairman of ARDA and the President & CEO of ARDA. This was followed by a panel discussion with five of the industry’s leaders discussing the issues most important to them.
Day 3 was the ARDA Awards Gala, with musical accompaniment by the Lon Bronson Orchestra. The entertainment that followed was “America’s Got Talent” 2007 winner, ventriloquist, Terry Fator.
